He performs traditional and contemporary songs on a wide range of subjects and from a variety of sources. Geoff's powerful and distinctive voice makes a welcome visit to Fleet. the stentorian entertainer from “up north” A welcome return to a Big Voice. Big Songs. Assisted by Guitar or dulcimar or just voice alone. Brings a wealth of stories, observations and good chorus song.
Well done, Geoff! An excellent turn-out saw Geoff on top form; some people were seeing him for the first time, and were suitably impressed. As ever, Geoff's material was a good mix of traditional, contemporary and self-penned songs, with his trademark rousing shanties! Geoff can always be relied upon for a great evening's entertainment (that's
another pint you owe me, chuck!). Book your tickets now to avoid disappointment!
Erm... we haven't printed any... oh well. Better turn up early, then! Geoff Higginbottom - Well known around the festivals and clubs. A powerful singer of shanties and a versatile entertainer. Expect a good sprinkling of trad. songs and some cracking chorus opportunities. Was at school with Dave Albinson (who was a prefect), despite the which he appears surprisingly well-balanced. Went through a stage where he was very fond of anagrams. That's why Tony Clark still gets referred to occasionally as Tory Clank. No website as he's a paid-up luddite. Bring your voices with you to this one!!!!
